How it works

Three small steps, designed for the moment someone calls your name.

Add phrases

Add call phrases people actually use, such as a name, 대표님, or 팀장님.

Listen locally

Speech Recognition runs from the menu bar while transcripts stay in memory for matching and QA logs.

Switch AirPods

When a phrase matches, the bundled helper switches connected AirPods into Transparency mode.

Local-first by design.

EarsUp asks only for the permissions it needs: Microphone, Speech Recognition, and Bluetooth. It does not save transcripts.

This is still an early version.

AirPods mode switching depends on private Bluetooth behavior. It works locally today, but macOS updates can change the path.

Release notes

The first public DMG focuses on menu bar detection, multiple wake phrases, direct AirPods mode controls, and a global shortcut.
